Biography
Maggie works directly with adults, couples and families. Although she is a generalist, she has a special interest in supporting parents, caregivers and families though complex family dynamics including challenging child behavior, family trauma, parenting through separation and divorce, blended families and families formed through adoption. She has advanced training working with members of the adoption and foster/kinship care triad (PACC - Permanency and Adoption Competency Certified).

Erin earned her Master’s of Social Work from the University of North Dakota in 2019, following her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Argosy University in 2006. She has been working with individuals impacted by trauma since 2006, bringing extensive experience from various settings, including residential chemical dependency treatment, community-based mental health, school-based, outpatient mental health and chemical dependency, and community social work consultation.

Nicole is a licensed psychotherapist and clinical supervisor at Mental Health Systems (MHS) in Roseville, MN. At MHS, she facilitates Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) groups and provides mindfulness-based individual therapy to adolescents (16+) and adults. Nicole has clinical, research and training, community development, and lived experience in transracial/transnational adoption, birth family search/reunion, suicide/prevention, mindfulness, trauma, identity development, and life transitions.

Joy works with children, teens, and adults at Heart to Heart, focusing on trauma, adoption, and attachment. She practices individual, group, and family therapy. Joy graduated with a Master of Arts from Bethel University in May 2022. She is pursuing an LPCC and is working towards becoming a Registered Play Therapist.

Biography
Jamie Rieser has worked with children and families in a variety of settings for over 20 years including in children’s day treatment, case management, community mental health, ECFE parent education, school-based counseling, and outpatient mental health. She currently provides office-based mental health therapy services in her private practice. She works with infant/early childhood populations in the family context, children, adults, and families using attachment-based therapy, play-based interventions, CBT, and parenting education.

I am a licensed psychologist with a long-standing interest in clinical work with all members of the adoption constellation. I work with adolescents and adults, with a special interest in psychoanalytic psychotherapy with adult adoptees. I conduct pre-adoption psychological evaluations. I see primarily BIPOC and make space to explore the impact of oppressive systems on identity. I have a special interest in mixed/multiracial people, transracial and transnational adoptees, and Queer & Trans BIPOC. My clinical specialty is complex trauma and dissociation for adults 18+, so I refer to other therapists for children, families, and couples.

It is my sincere belief that most people know the direction they aim towards in life. However, life often throws us curveballs, and it's okay to ask someone to come along for part of the journey.
