Promoting Permanency

PACC is a cohort-based certificate program that enhances permanency and adoption competence for mental health and child welfare professionals across Minnesota.

About

For over a decade, PACC has responded to a statewide need to increase the number of qualified permanency and adoption mental health and child welfare professionals in Minnesota who are able to work in collaborative, cross-disciplinary and multicultural contexts. PACC is open to all professionals, regardless of race, ethnicity, or national origin.

The PACC program has been fully revised to a hybrid format, combining self-paced and interactive training and consultation accessible for working professionals across the state.

Training

PACC is a cohort-based training that enhances permanency and adoption competence for professionals working across child welfare and mental health settings. The program offers over 70 Social Work Continuing Education Hours, including the required 2 hours in Social Work Ethics and 4 hours in Cultural Responsiveness content.

Generous grant support from the Minnesota Department of Children, Youth and Families ensures that programming remains equitable and affordable across the state.
