As a Board-Certified Art Therapist and Anchor Relational (formerly AIR Network) trained therapist, and I incorporate Developmental, Intersectional, and Trauma-focused lens into my practice. I believe safety, trust, honesty, creativity, and humor are essential elements in a therapeutic relationship. I utilize a client-centered and relational approach to therapy, weaving psychoeducation with introspection and self-reflection. I incorporate art therapy interventions, mindfulness techniques, and somatic and sensorimotor experiences within sessions.

I am dedicated to working with individuals, couples, and families by supporting hope and growth through a family systems perspective and trauma informed care. My passion is attachment, relationships, and development and their impact on functioning throughout one’s life. I find encouragement in my work through helping others find hope, strength, and healing within their environment and relationships. I am also trained in Theraplay, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Child Parent Psychotherapy (CPP), and Circle of Security-Parenting.

Holly provides individual and family therapy in Elementary Schools to children and family. Within her previous positions in Day Treatment and In-Home services Holly has experience working with individuals and families who are in foster care, have been adopted, and have experienced trauma. Holly is also trained in providing DC 0-5 assessments for children birth to five years old. She believes that the best outcomes happen when the whole family is engaged in services.

I am a permanency social worker for St. Louis County. My current caseload includes kinship, adoption, guardianship and extended foster care. I also am a back-up petition writer. Prior to switching to this role in August of 2023, I did ongoing case management in child protection for 6.5 years.

Following 22 years in the field as a licensed child psychologist, and 17 years in private practice, I am no longer providing direct care as an adoption-competent therapist. For my "second chapter", I am eager to join the team of HELP Specialists at Foster Adopt MN (FAM) in January, 2026. The HELP Program provides free, curated support services to any Minnesota adoptive, kinship or foster family; adopted persons, former foster youth and community professionals.

I am an adoptive parent myself and with adoption in my family of origin.

I have been working as an Adoption Resource Worker with HI have worked in the area of Permanency with Hennepin County since 2019. Currently, my title is Permanency Resource Worker (PRW) where I support children 0-18 who are in foster care. In this role, I help children achieve permanency by supporting paths toward a Transfer of Permanency Legal and Physical custody (TPLPC) or adoption when concurrent permanency planning is necessary.  ennepin County since 2019.
