I am a senior child protection worker that investigates abuse and neglect for Ramsey County, the second largest county in MN. I have been doing this since January of 2018 and love to be able to connect with professionals for other counties and entities to better our work for the youth and children in Minnesota.

Kayla Thomas, MSW, LICSW
Kayla is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and believes in the power of relationships to assist clients in finding their unique healing needs in ways that are comfortable and meaningful to the individual and family system. Kayla works with children (ages 3 and up), teens, and families who are experiencing behavioral and mental health needs, disruptions in attachment and family relationships, and trauma. Kayla also has experience in Preschool Mental Health Day Treatment and Child Protection Case Management.
Kaysie Bergum, MSW, LICSW
I have been working as an Adoption Resource Worker with HI have worked in the area of Permanency with Hennepin County since 2019. Currently, my title is Permanency Resource Worker (PRW) where I support children 0-18 who are in foster care. In this role, I help children achieve permanency by supporting paths toward a Transfer of Permanency Legal and Physical custody (TPLPC) or adoption when concurrent permanency planning is necessary. ennepin County since 2019.
